We offer water and electricity hook-ups at each site. Due to county and state health restrictions, dumping of grey or black water onto the ground or river is prohibited. Because of the close proximity to the Provo river, we do not have sewer hook-ups. We do offer a dump station. Please look at Resort Rules for more information.

Terms and Conditions:


Please read and sign the entire document before arrival. 


We are excited to welcome you to Provo River Resort, and our goal is to provide our guests with a peaceful, relaxing, and enjoyable stay on our beautiful property. The following rules are in place to provide this environment to our guests. We thank you for adhering to these rules and hope you enjoy every moment with us. Questions or concerns may be discussed with Provo River Resort management at (801)-382-9395 or in the Grandma Froggie General store. Provo River Resort strives to provide all guests with a safe and enjoyable experience. Provo River Resort assumes no liability for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal belongings on our premises. Guests acknowledge inherent risks associated with resort activities and use of facilities and equine or livestock activities. By using our facilities and participating in activities, guests agree to hold Provo River Resort harmless for any claims arising from such use. We recommend all guests exercise caution and common (or rare) sense while enjoying their stay.


Resort Rules:


  1. The speed limit within the campground is 5 MPH. Children are playing, please drive slowly. If you are found speeding you may be fined or asked to leave with no refund. 
  2. To keep the grass green we must water. Sprinklers are scheduled to come on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights 11 pm-8 am, it is your responsibility to remove any belongings you do not want to get wet. If you cause any damage to the sprinklers you will be responsible for the cost of the repairs. 
  3. Tents are allowed on the gravel without stakes, but your vehicle must be parked in overflow, and we do not have any tent-only sites.
  4. Summer hours are 9 am - 9 pm Monday-Saturday 9 am-5 pm Sunday.  If you need anything immediately outside of office hours you can always contact the camp manager as her phone number is on the office door. 
  5. Please refrain from parking or driving on grass at any time, There is a fine associated with doing so. 
  6. The guest is required to have insurance coverage on vehicles and trailers when staying at Provo River Resort.
  7. Do not leave children unattended at any time. We want you to enjoy yourself but please keep a close eye on your children. 
  8. At Provo River Resort, we offer power at every site. This is "mountain power"  and does not work well with many surge protectors.  If you are concerned with power and need to use a surge protector we recommend using solar power or finding another place to stay that is closer to town with a stronger power grid. In all cases where power didn't appear to work at a particular site when the surge protector was removed, the power worked fine. Please keep this in mind if you want to use a surge protector.
  9. We do not allow generators to be used in the park unless there is a park-wide power outage. 
  10. Arrivals after 11 pm need prior approval from management.
  11. We do not allow the use of personal swimming pools or hot tubs. 
  12. We welcome your furry friends to accompany you for your stay. They MUST be on a 6-foot or less leash, tethered to your person or camper. You MUST pick up their poop immediately and if they are barking please take care of it so others may enjoy the peace the park has to offer. If your dog is off a leash and there is poop at your site you will be fined $100 and asked to leave. This policy is to keep everyone safe.
  13. Animals can not be left unattended outside at any time. We do not allow any crates or fences outside on the premises.
  14. If you leave your dogs unattended inside your RV  at any time your animal must have a bark collar on, If there is ANY noise at all you will be fined 100 dollars.
  15. Check-out is by noon at the latest. There is a $10 per hour late checkout fee if available. See store for availability.
  16. Check-in time for campsites is anytime after noon. Early arrival before noon is $10 an hour if a site is available, you will need to call the office for approval.
  17. If you are arriving after 9:00 pm please call the office before closing to make arrangements, your terms and conditions MUST be accepted before arrival. If you arrive after 9:00 pm there will be a $50 charge. 
  18.  No conducting business this includes but is not limited to soliciting, fishing guides, fundraising, any form of politics, salesmen/women, or religions to any campers, guests, or employees, in our park. We support the privacy of our patrons.
  19. Please leave your site better than you found it. If we find you have left trash or dog feces we are happy to clean your site after you leave for a minimum $25 charge. 
  20. Picnic tables and firepits are available at all sites excluding long-term sites. Please do not move tables or fire pits from other sites. 
  21. There are no personal portable sheds allowed on any sites.
  22. We do not allow charging of electric vehicles with the power.
  23. At this time we do not have laundry services available. 
  24. Please refrain from walking through any sites that are not your own. There are 3 River access points that are identified on your map. 
  25. Please be advised that pull-through sites 73-68 are narrow and may require extra care when maneuvering a vehicle.
  26. Showers are bathrooms are provided at a courtesy next to the store, Please leave it better than you found it and limit shows to 10 minutes. If you have children using these facilities please monitor them at all times. We have additional showers coming soon near site 27, in the meantime, there are porta-potties at that location.
  27. Campfires must be in a firepit and distinguished before going to bed and before leaving camp. Please do not burn plastic or dog feces.
  28. All trash must be cleaned up and placed in the dumpsters located at both ends of the campground. If a dumpster is full, you must find another dumpster with room. Please do not place your trash outside of the dumpsters. 
  29. Do not place rugs or mats on the grass for more than 24 hours. If you kill the grass there will be a 200 dollar fine. 
  30. All personal possessions should be put away at night to avoid theft and water damage from rain, wind, snow storms, or any acts of God. Provo River Resort is not responsible for any lost, or damaged items. 
  31. This is bear country, DO NOT leave any food or trash outside of your camper. If you are camping in a tent, ALL food AND toiletries must be kept inside your car.
  32. ATVs may be used going in/out of the campground, however, they may not be driven around inside the campground except by management. Please abide by the 5mph speed limit.
  33. The Utah Department of Fish and Game requires a fishing permit. No live bait may be used on the Provo River. You can buy a fishing license by downloading the Utah DNR App on your phone. 
  34. Fireworks, firecrackers, sparklers, and any other similar devices are not permitted in the campground at any time. No firearms and/or BB gun use is allowed in the park.
  35. Provo River Resort is a family-friendly environment. Please refrain from using profanity and keep all alcohol and smoking within your campsite. Any violation of any federal, state, or local law is prohibited. Interfering with the peaceful enjoyment of other campers is prohibited. Any conduct that may be viewed as threatening to other campers or Employees is prohibited. Concerns need to be brought to the attention of management.
  36. If you have hired a fishing guide who is not associated with Provo River Resort they are not allowed to fish in the park.  If you are a fishing guide, you may stay at the park but are not allowed to bring guests to the park to fish. 
  37. Campers assume the risk of camping in a wilderness setting and assume all risks associated with camping in this environment, including but not limited to, weather risks, falling rocks, wildlife interaction, flooding, mudslides, and acts of God, war, or nature. Provo River Resort assumes no responsibility for property brought onto the campground, or the persons using the campground.
  38. Due to county and state health restrictions, there is no dumping of gray or black water anywhere on the property. It is a warning and a $100 fine for the first offense. The second offense is you will be removed from the park with a $5,000 fine. This is a HAZMAT issue. Because of the proximity to the Provo River, we do not have sewer hook-ups at any of our sites. We have a pump-out service through an outside vendor available. For a basic dump, it is a $50 fee. If you would like to take advantage of the services please visit the store. If you need an immediate dump there is a dump station with a tank washout located at Deer Creek State Park. 
  39. All through there are sewer hookups at some sites please note they are not ready to be used. 
  40. We have a self-serve dump station available for your convenience. There is no water source available to flush your tank. We do not allow dumping from customers who put 'FLUSHABLE WIPES', FEMININE PRODUCTS, EAR SWABS, ETC in their systems. If those are dumped in our self-serve, it is a $200 fine. Make sure you release the valve slowly so there is not a backup. Provo River Resort is not responsible for any overflowing or damage done by using the self-dump.
  41. Provo River Resort reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any reason. 
  42. Provo River Resort reserves the right to evict anyone for any reason with 30 minutes' notice. This is not a permanent residence and cannot be used as so. 
  43. Each site is allowed 1 vehicle in addition to their RV or motorhome. Only 1 vehicle can be parked on the site. XL sites are allowed 2 vehicles in addition to their RV or motorhome.  All vehicles are required to have a parking permit visible on the windshield and must be picked up at the office at the time of check-in. Additional vehicles will also need parking permits which can be purchased at the office and must be parked in the overflow parking. All cars without a visible permit will be booted and charged a $250 removal fee. 
  44. If you have any guests visiting they are allowed to stay for 2 hours as long as they are adhering to the rules and have purchased a parking pass and park in overflow. If staying more than 2 hours they must pay a $25 per person resort charge. There is a $ 50-rod fee for any visiting guests who will be fishing. If you do not abide by these additional guest restrictions your entire party will be asked to leave with no refund. 
  45. Guests are not allowed to drive through the park, Doing so will cost $25.
  46. There is a $50 fine for any unauthorized vehicle parked at your site.
  47. Please be respectful of any employee's time and do not distract them while they are on the clock. 


Winter Terms and Conditions: 

  1. The potable hydrant is the customer's responsibility to add heat tape or heated hose and/or anything else you deem necessary to keep your hydrant from freezing. If the hydrant pipe does freeze and crack, an evaluation will occur to see if necessary steps were taken to keep it from freezing. If decided that proper preventative actions were not taken to keep it from freezing, a fine will be to the customer for neglect.
  2. Skirting is allowed from November 1st - April 1st, If you would like to keep skirting up year round it must be approved by management. 


Cabin Terms and Conditions: 

  1. Pets are not allowed inside the cabins. There is a $250 fee if pets are inside the cabin at any time.
  2. Please shower before entering the hot tub. Lotions and oils are bad for the hot tub and will result in a fine.
  3. You agree to not take anything from the cabin. If something is missing your card will be charged for the item plus a restocking fee.
  4. You are allowed 2 vehicles when staying at the cabin. All other vehicles must purchase a parking pass and park in the overflow parking lot. 
  5. Please be respectful and treat the cabin with respect.
  6. Please be aware that propane is not included in the rental, We have tanks for rent in the office for $35 each.
  7. Cabin check-in is at 3:00 pm and check-out is by 11 am. If you would like to extend your stay until noon with no charge you must wash, dry, and put away all dishes and place all sheets and towels in the bathtub.
